I'm here to be your new "Mom Friend" - in the best possible way.

The Mom Friend always has snacks in their bag for when you get hangry, a sewing kit just in case your seam rips, and bandaids because, well, you never know. They're always telling you how great you look, making sure you feel okay, and have three back up plans. They go to bat for you when something becomes an obstacle and aren't afraid to get their hands dirty if they need to.

I consider myself the best version of a Mom Friend because I come to every wedding with a level of preparation that my clients are forever grateful for. I'm not afraid to tell someone we need five more minutes, to climb over a fence we're not supposed to, or tell people that we're "doing this for the couple". My goal is to make you feel taken care of from the time you first email me through even after you receive your final gallery.

Where it began...

A long time ago, my family took a trip to Disney World. Three days in, after much complaining on my part, I was given control of our family camera and that’s the short version of how I fell in love with photography.

Since then, I’ve always had a camera in my hand. I started photographing events in high school and helping to design the yearbook. I graduated college with a bachelor's degree in photography, ran stairs at the Philadelphia stadiums photographing fans, worked in e-commerce for a small period of time, photographed school portraits, weddings, models, and teamed up with friends along the way. I learned through doing what I enjoyed photographing and what I never wanted to try again.

... and where it's going.

I like to say I'm adventurous and passionate about my work, but I don't take myself too seriously. I drink coffee, read my horoscope daily (shout out to my fellow geminis), and I'm passionate about visiting the National Parks. I love a good true crime or fiction podcast, embroidery, rom-coms, and the MCU. I could talk for hours about my dog or the road trip my husband and I took around the country.

Right now, I’m photographing school children of all ages with Barksdale School Portraits, photographing weddings for Duca Studios, and still taking on personal clients. When I’m not photographing, you can find me on the couch with my husband and dog, watching reruns of The Office, hiking a trail in the woods, or planning my next vacation.

Okay, so how does this work?

The way I photograph anything is by capturing moments as they happen without too much intervention from me. What that means is that I like to give clients a starting point or an idea (think: "Stand together here, in this light, and just talk to each other.") and let poses unfold naturally while we talk and laugh. I want people to feel comfortable with me rather than being directed into awkward situations, but I'm here to help you look your best, which means I'll still pay attention to details and get your best angle.

Pricing for weddings start at $1500 and portrait and engagement sessions start at $175. All sessions come with a private online gallery and printing rights. A basic pricing guide is listed here, but if you need more information or have something more specific in mind, the best way to reach me is through email or my contact form
